Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic powder optional
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar optional
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  • Rinse the Brussels sprouts and trim off the tough ends. Cut sprouts in half so that they are all roughly the same size. Place the Brussels sprouts in a large mixing bowl.
  • Toss the brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  • Arrange the Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry them for 12-15 minutes or until they are slightly browned. Shake them halfway through.
  • Check the sprouts for doneness; they should be tender and lightly browned.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
  • For extra flavor, mix a spoonful of your favorite seasoning into melted butter or ghee and brush overtop the Brussels sprouts for an extra flavor explosion.

Oven Method

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Arrange Brussels Sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes.

Notes

Air Fry Frozen Brussels sprouts: When cooking frozen sprouts, use petite Brussels sprouts. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F. Arrange whole frozen sprouts in the air fryer basket, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes. This will allow the excess moisture from the sprouts to evaporate.
