Decadent hot chocolate sticks are easy to make and are an absolute crowd pleaser. These hot chocolate sticks make an excellent gifts and are budget friendly too. Make it this holidays for your family and friends and amaze them all!!
½cuppeppermint candy, around 15-20 soft peppermint candy, crushed
½cupenglish toffee bits
½cupmarshmallows
Instructions
Add 2 cups of water in the inner pot of Instant Pot. Now place a bowl on top of the Instant Pot.
Turn ON Instant Pot on saute mode (more). Add the chocolate chips to a bowl. Whisk until all the chocolate has melted, it will take around 4-5 minutes. Turn off Instant Pot.
Stir in extract (optional). Remove the bowl from the heat.
Carefully spoon the melted chocolate into a plastic shot glass. Divide the chocolate equally into six shot glasses.
Tap the shot glass couple of times to get rid of the air bubbles.
Stick a Popsicle stick in the center of each chocolate glass.
Add any toppings of your choice - marshmallows, crushed peppermint candy, caramel bites.
Let the hot chocolate sticks cool completely for around 5-6 hours or overnight.
Once cooled, using scissors make 3-4 slits on top of the shot glass. Peel the plastic gently and remove the chocolate stick.
Store it in an air-tight container in a refrigerator.
HOW TO SERVE HOT CHOCOLATE STICKS
Warm up some milk in a mug.
Stir the hot chocolate stick until well combined.
Top it with your favorite topping. Enjoy!Note: For more richer flavor use full fat milk. You can also add some cream if desired for more richness.
Notes
This recipe makes six of each hot chocolate - white chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate.
Vanilla extract and white chocolate taste good.
